What is EPI International Journal of Engineering (EPI-IJE)?

In the past few decades, outstanding advances in the application of scientific and technological knowledge have been seen in various regions of Indonesia. University of Hasanuddin (UNHAS) is known as a representative autonomous national university in the Eastern Part of Indonesia (EPI), and is the key academic center in the area. That is the main reason to affix the name of EPI to this journal name. The objective of this international journal is to establish UNHAS as one of the centers for the dissemination of engineering-related knowledge in the EPI region collected from authors all over the world. This journal is published and managed by the Center of Technology, Faculty of Engineering, University of Hasanuddin, Indonesia.

 A wide range of topics may be accepted, including from both conventional engineering and newly developed fields. Multi-disciplinary and Inter-disciplinary fields are encouraged to submit, and the topic on engineering education is also welcome. Manuscripts should be in English only. This journal system is open free-access to the public in electric form, and the paper-form journal is also available. On acceptance of the submitted manuscript, authors are asked to submit a short copyright form, but the copyright on articles is retained by the authors so they have the right to reuse their work.

The first edition was published in February 2018 and further publication is made biannually (February and August editions). It has printed version ISSN 2615-5109 and electronic version ISSN 2621-0541. Each article published is also supplied by a DOI number. The submitted manuscripts will be peer review at least by two reviewers. Only manuscripts with proper format and quality which will be published.
