Recently, Lowland Technology International is transforming become an open-access journal starting from publication Volume 21(2). Open-access allows all interested readers to view, download, print and redistribute any article without a subscription, enabling far greater distribution of an author's work than the traditional - publishing based model. 

We do not charge a fee for the prospective author who intends to submit a manuscript for review nor whose manuscript is accepted for publication.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Copyright Agreement.

Changing of Journal Management and Website
After more than a decade managed by Saga University, Lowland Technology International Journal has now been transferred to Hasanuddin University as of 1 January 2019. Manuscripts submitted after 1 January 2019 will be managed by Hasanuddin University and submitted to www.cot.unhas.ac.id/journals/index.php/ialt_lti
